Flighted points system tournament where the players get points for par, birdie, eagle, and have points deducted for bogeys and worse.

President's Cup

2 day flighted individual stroke play with only Net winners.

ABCD Two Best Ball of Foursome

Flighted stroke play where the combined 2 best scores for each hole is the team score with both Gross and Net winners. ABCD means that there will be a player from each flight on each team.

Eclectic

2 day Flighted individual stroke play with Gross and Net winners where the tournament score for each hole is the best score from either day 1 or day 2 counting as the tournament score.

Two Man Scramble

Both players hit shots and then decide which one is best, and they both play from that position and continue in this manner until the ball is holed. Handicaps are based on a percentage of the combined handicaps of the players. Both gross and net winners.

Two Man Best Ball

Both players play their own ball into the hole and the best score is the team score. Both gross and net.

Club Championship

2 day flighted individual stroke play with only Gross winners.

ABCD Hotball Scramble

3 players hit shots and then decide which one is best, and they all play from that position and continue in this manner until the ball is holed. The one remaining ‘Hotball’ player plays his own ball into the hole and the scramble score and the hotball score are combined for the team score. The ‘hotball’ player rotates each hole. ABCD means that there will be a player from each flight on each team.

2 day – 36 holes – 2 man teams

Day 1

Front 9 – Scramble format

Back 9 – Chapman Pinehurst (an alternating shot format )

Day 2

Front 9 – 2 Man Best Ball

Back 9 – 2 man Aggregate

Member/Guest - Member/Member

2 man team Best ball. Any CCMGA member may have as a partner anyone with a valid handicap. All players in this tournament use their AGA / USGA handicap.

Tournament Handicap Policies

ALL TOURNAMENTS

The lowest three of five scores in a sanctioned CCMGA home or away tournaments, or your current AGA handicap in effect on the closing date for tournament entries, whichever is lower, will determine a member's handicap for tournament play.

(Note: Members playing in their first CCMGA tournament will receive their AGA handicap. For members with one, but less than five tournament scores, the following formula will be used to determine their lowest tournament score: one for one, one for two, two of three and three of four.)

MAJOR TOURNAMENTS

In addition to the above requirements, all entrants in the President's Cup, Club Championship and Two-Man Championship must have, within the past 12 months, participated in at least two CCMGA tournaments in which tournament scores were posted for handicap purposes. Note: RAZZ scores do not qualify as tournament scores.
