The
game is played by holes. A hole is won by the competitor who holes his
ball in fewer strokes, taking into consideration any strokes given because
of handicap differential. The match is won by the player who is leading
by a number of holes greater than the number of holes remaining to be
played. In the event of a tie, the round is extended by as many holes
as required for the match to be won.
Players
will use handicap that is current on the day of each match. On the day
of the match, players will check their current handicap index and use
the chart in the pro shop to determine the handicap to be used, based
upon which set of tees they will be playing from. All play will be from
the white tees unless both players agree to play from the blue tees.
Both
players are to keep their score on the same score card, sign and attest
the card, circle the winner, and place the score card in the CCMGA lock
box left of the pro shop entry door.
The
winners in each round will be posted periodically on the bulletin board
and the final results of each round on the CCMGA website. It is the
responsibility of each winner to check the bracket to find out who is
the next opponent.
